Papercrafts 2008-2012by *XenonRay

Artisan Crafts / Folding & Papercraft / Models

I was thinking the other day, that I might do a group picture of all of my models I've built over the past 4 years. Most live in shoe boxes or in the wardrobe, with only my newer big ones on display. So I was quite giddy to see them all out at once.

Papercrafts, papercrafts everywhere! I don't want to guess how many sheets were used for these things, even not counting test prints and rebuilds. All I know is I've bought 3 reams of 160gsm in as many years, and an unspecified amount of 180/200gsm on top of that. Recycle your scraps and left overs kids!

For scale, the big back row ones are between 40-49cm.

Front Row: Hylian Shield, Mirror Shield, Hover & Iron Boots, Megaton Hammer, Master Sword, Gerudo Sword, Venomian Tank, Snowspeeder, Broken Giant's Knife, Predator Pistol, Postman's Letter, Arwing, Majora's Mask, Bolse Defence Outpost, Grog's Bag, AT-PT, Gossip Stone, Master Sword in Pedestal, Boss Key, MM and OoT Chests.

The majority are designed by me, with about 14 being other people's templates. This pic doesn't include test/fail builds or other models that have since fallen apart.

The face of Lucia and Haar seem rather odd, but the Nephenee one came out beautiful~<3 You need the Black Knight though.

Though that would be hard to do. XD;
The whole Mass Effect ones came out perfect, and I love the LoZ crew. You just nailed my favourite games here. Now if you Excuse me, I'm going to go hunt down all the templates for these. *A*

I'll concede the point about Lucia as I consider that one of my worst ones. Something about the design looking ok on screen but suffering from wacky proportions when built in real life. Haar isn't as bad

but overall there are some discrepancies between the in game models and the character artwork for Radiant Dawn. Unfortunately I think I'm past the point of doing any more Fire Emblem stuff...

Thank you, the ME ones in general I feel are good templates. All ME ones are listed on my deviantArt gallery while most of the LoZ models can be found on the Nintendo Papercraft or Hyrule Papercraft blogs.
